Yeah.
There's a lot of news to share, so bear with me! ...Where to start?
I guess I'll tell you of my recent visits to nature centers and things. So, last weekend, I went to my high school's playoff football game (WHICH we lost at cause we suck terribly...hehehe), the Carlisle nature reservation where I took a walk with my dad and saw some awesome birds, and a pair of whitetailed deer mating (aren't I lucky..? -.-; ), the APL where we took out a few dogs and petted the kitties, and other things I can't remember.
I've been working on drawing horses the last few weeks if anyone wonders what I've been doing latley.

Last Saturday was the Breeder's Cup Classic horse race, and Zenyatta BLEW that field of males away and won! She was spectacular; I don't know who to choose for HotY now...it's between her and Rachel Alexandra. On that note, I've drawn Rachel and also Talise...and a very colourful Zebra. (I've a new love for zebras

) So yeah, lots of horses!
About horses...last night I had my weekly horse riding lesson. I rode Kate! She's just the biggest sweetheart, but in the saddle you've gotta be steady and persistant with her. We did rythm work (with cavaletties) at the working trot. I really got the hang of it; we did wonderful. My instructor called me "the master of rythm"!

Haha. Then afterwards I towled her down (we worked hard, and she was sweaty , especially now their winter coats are coming in) and petted her...she's just so beautiful. And sweet. I can put my face up to hers and she'll just look at me, and blow softly into my ear...

Last night after we left the stables, we went to the Valley Tack shop, the only place that I know of that sells Breyers (well, Target and Wal-Mart sell stablemates but that's it...). It's totally horse/ Breyer heaven! Theyv'e a whole section of Breyers in the store. A wall of Traditionals!

I had a really hard time choosing, and I saw the Ethereal Earth model in person for the first time; it's just GORGEOUS. *do want do want do want

* I put it on my holiday wish list

So I ended up buying the Secretariat (2009) model, a special 4-horse pack of Stablemates, and an extra Pony Stablemate. When I got to the checkout, I found out all Breyers are 20% off this month! I was so happy; so I pretty much got the 4-pack free!

And I got a free horse calendar...last night was just awesome!
So today, I took photos of all my 40 some Breyers (36 of which are Stablemates) and put a video together. You can see it HERE: **

So now some notes on my Breyers and if anyone wants to TRADE BREYERS, scroll down!
NOTES:
-Buddy, my super-old bay Clydesdale Stablemate, is pretty much wrecked up. I got him when I was around 5 or 6, and at that time my brother was only 3 or 4. And he threw the poor model down the steps into the concrete basement. *shudder* Broke his ear off and obviously rubbed some paint off.
-The palomino Saddlebred is indeed missing half of one leg. I forget how that happened, just that I could never fix her up again. Still keep her though...don't want to part with one of my first Breyers!

-The small paint foal that is laying down is also very old. It was given to me by a friend a loong time ago; I do not know where she is from (as in what set or anything...)
-Afleet Alex; he has more rubs than my other Traditionals...he was my first Traditional and I just loved to take him on and off my shelf to look at him and play with him...

-the bay Paint Quarterhorse Stablemate(Standing) and the bay paint (cantering) Warmblood have some marks on their white patches; it may be scratches or paint (or even my brother agian...)
-the dun appaloosa Warmblood Stablemate has ear rubs.
QUESTIONS:
If you have any questions about any of my models, or if you're even interested in trading, please send me a note! Or email me at saphirethefortunate@hotmail.com

So that's really it...I don't know what I'm doing this weekend. Besides working on studying for some tests and writing an essay. *sigh*
Also, if anyone would like, I'm really looking for a good condition Spirit:Stallion of the Cimarron Traditional Breyer model horse. I'm welcome to draw a digital piece for anyone who would be willing to give it to me!

So basically a trade of art and the model.
Now if you'll look below it's a feature of HORSES!

Sunshine and happy howls to everyone,
